Annual Student Concerts
The School of Greensboro Ballet's
CHILDREN'S DANCE CONCERT
Saturday, May 10 at 11:00am
Van Dyke Performance Space (1st floor of the Greensboro Cultural Center)
The families of our Children's Dance students are invited to attend this concert which will highlight our Creative Movement and Pre-Ballet classes. This performance will last about an hour including the concert, followed by a short reception with punch and cookies.
Drop Off at 10:15am
All children must be dropped off in their class uniform (colored leotard, tights and ballet shoes) in our SGB studios. Please make sure dance clothes and shoes are in good shape, clean, and with no holes. Students should arrive with their hair in a neat bun, ponytail, braid, or other manner that keeps their hair out of their face. Students will be put into their costumes (tutu skirts and headpieces) by our staff and older dancer volunteers. Please drop students off with NO extra items (bags, street clothes/shoes, water bottles, etc.).
Parents may order Flower Bouquets from the Greensboro Ballet as a convenient time-saver! See below for more information about our Flower Bouquet Fundraiser and how to order your dancer's bouquet(s).
Tickets are not required and doors open at 10:15am. Seating is general admission, first-come, first serve. Parents may take photos and videos, as long as they do not disturb the dancers or other families around them. Dancers will be dismissed from the performance space and may take their costumes home with them!
Note: Dancers should wear a cover-up (dress, shirt & pants/skirt) over their dance clothes when walking to the studios for drop-off and before heading home for the day. Also, they should not wear their ballet shoes outside the dance studio.

UPPER SCHOOL CONCERT
Saturday, May 10 at 3:30pm

The families of our Upper School students are invited to attend this concert which will highlight our Ballet, Contemporary and Hip-Hop classes.

Students should be dropped off at the School of Greensboro Ballet studios 15 minutes beforetheir specific warm-up or rehearsal time (see below) on Friday or Saturday. If your student does not have a Saturday rehearsal, please drop them off at 2:30pm in our SGB studios.
Students should be dropped off wearing their class uniform (colored leotard, tights and ballet or other shoes). Please make sure dance clothes and shoes are in good shape, clean, and with no holes. Students should arrive with their hair in a neat bun or as otherwise directed by their instructor. Students will change into their costumes under the direction of their instructor or other SGB staff member.
