as part of Greensboro Ballet's Bringing Books to Life Through Dance programming

Greensboro Ballet is pleased to announce that it was the recipient of a $5,000 grant for the 2023/2024 season in support of our Nutcracker School Shows and our Fancy Nancy and the Mermaid Ballet (& Other Dances) School Show. All three shows were performed at the historic Carolina Theatre in downtown Greensboro. Because of this grant, Greensboro Ballet was able to offer over 1000 tickets at no charge for local Title-1 School students. This grant was also helped the Ballet provide a new Educational Packet for each participating school, created in accordance with the NC Standards of Education and to supplement these educational performances.

December 12 & 13 at 10:00am at the Carolina Theatre, 310 S Greene St, Greensboro

Join us for a condensed 45-50 minute performance of The Nutcracker with some fun behind-the-scenes glimpses of what it takes to produce this holiday ballet! Students from public schools, private schools, and home schools are welcome to attend our Nutcracker School Shows.

Tickets:

$7/student or chaperone - 1 FREE Teacher with every 10 students

FREE tickets for students of Guilford County School Title 1 Schools (limit of 500 per show)

Reserve tickets for your students by filling out the Nutcracker School Show Reservation Form below and returning it with payment to:
