New Creative Investment Program:

The Arts Council of Greater Greensboro

Guilford County

NC Arts Council

Greensboro Ballet has been a funded participant in the New Creative Investment ARPA Sustainability Program these past two years. Utilizing the funds from Guilford County American Rescue Plan Act, The Arts Council of Greater Greensboro, has been working across Guilford County to provide a framework for a new, more sustainable arts sector. This investment has been providing creatives, artists, and art organization, like the Greensboro Ballet, with the tools and resources to become financially stronger and better able to serve the community.

Special Grant Award:

Tannenbaum-Sternberger Foundation

Greensboro Ballet is pleased to announce that it is the recipient of a $5,000 grant for the 2023/2024 season in support of our Nutcracker School Shows and our Fancy Nancy and the Mermaid Ballet (& Other Dances) School Show. All three shows will be performed at the historic Carolina Theatre in downtown Greensboro. Because of this grant, Greensboro Ballet is able to offer up 1500 free tickets (split between the three School Shows) for local Title-1 School students. It is also helping the Ballet provide a new Educational Packet for each participating school, created in accordance with the NC Standards of Education and to supplement these educational performances.

 Other Corporate/Business Sponsors:
