Greensboro Ballet & Civic Ballet Theatre Alumni

Having been teaching generations of dancers, we are proud to have seen our former students become doctors/nurses, teachers, business owners, executives, lawyers, engineers, designers, and many other non-dance related professions.  We are proud to see our students excel in whatever profession they choose, knowing that the discipline, work-ethic, and creative thinking skills they learned in ballet training has served them well in their professional pursuits.

Many of our students have gone on to support ballet, dance, and the arts in general through attendance at their local performances, fundraising events, and by serving on non-profit boards and/or they have passed along their love of dance to their children.  We love seeing photos of our alumni's children attending ballet/dance class, performing in their local Nutcracker production, or recital/student concert, etc. Some of these children attend the School of Greensboro Ballet, truly making them second generation students!

Our current Board Chair, Jennifer Jones, and our School Director, Nina Bass Munda, are both alumna, now working to keep the Ballet teaching the art of dance and classical ballet to many generations to come.
