AUDITIONS for Greensboro Ballet's 2025 "The Nutcracker"

Required Zoom Meeting for Parents/Guardians:  Saturday, August 23, 4-5pm

Sunday, August 24 - Auditions in the GB Studios

1:00-1:30pm     Registration for Advanced students (ages 13-18 with at three years of classical ballet training and one year en pointe).

1:30-2:30pm     Audition for Advanced students (females & males)

2:00-2:30pm     Registration for Intermediate students (ages 10-13 with at least two years of classical ballet training).

2:30-3:15pm     Audition for Intermediate Students (females & males)

3:00-3:30pm     Registration for Boys (ages 7 -11, no dance experience needed) and Girls (ages 8-10, with at least one year of classical ballet training). 

3:30-4:15pm     Audition for Boys (7-11) & Girls (8-10)

Auditions will take place in our Greensboro Ballet studios, located on the 3rd floor of the Greensboro Cultural Center (behind the main elevator), 200 N Davie Street, Greensboro, NC 27401.

Those wishing to audition must be available to rehearse and perform for all the following 2025 Nutcracker dates:

Monday, Dec. 8 through Wednesday, Dec. 10  -  Theatre rehearsals

Thursday, Dec. 11 & Friday, Dec. 12 at 10am  -  Nutcracker School Shows (condensed, educational version for local children)

Thursday, Dec. 11 & 12 at 6:30pm  - Evening Performances

Saturday, Dec. 13 at 11am & 3:30pm, Sunday, Dec. 14 at 3:00pm - Matinee Performances

All rehearsals and performances will take place at the historic Carolina Theatre in downtown Greensboro.
